Routine Check-ups & Cleanings
Regular dental examinations and professional cleaning to monitor development, remove plaque build-up, and catch problems before they become serious. We recommend check-ups every 6 months from the first tooth.
Specialist children’s dental care delivered with patience, warmth, and expertise. Our ADA-certified pediatric team helps kids build a lifelong, positive relationship with their dental health, from their very first tooth.
A child’s first dental experiences shape their attitude towards oral health for life. A bad experience can create lasting anxiety. A positive one builds confidence and healthy habits that last decades. At O Clinic, our pediatric team is purpose-trained to make every visit a good one, regardless of how nervous your child may be.
From routine check-ups to more complex treatments, we offer a full range of children’s dental services under one roof, always with your child’s comfort and confidence at the centre of everything we do.

Fissure sealants and fluoride applications to protect your child’s teeth from decay. These simple, pain-free treatments significantly reduce the risk of cavities, especially in the back teeth where food most commonly gets trapped.
When cavities do develop, we use gentle techniques and tooth-coloured fillings to restore the affected tooth. We take special care to make this experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible for your child.
If a baby tooth is lost early, a space maintainer preserves the gap for the incoming adult tooth. Without this, neighbouring teeth can drift and compromise the adult tooth’s eruption path — potentially requiring orthodontic treatment later.
We monitor jaw development, tooth eruption, and bite alignment throughout childhood. Early identification of issues means simpler, less invasive treatment, reducing the need for lengthy orthodontic work in the teenage years.
Accidents happen. If your child chips, cracks, or knocks out a tooth, our team is trained to respond quickly and effectively. Prompt, expert management of dental trauma can often save a tooth that might otherwise be lost.
Dental anxiety in children is extremely common, and completely understandable. Many of our patients arrive nervous and leave proud of themselves. Our pediatric team’s entire approach is built around eliminating fear and building trust, one gentle step at a time.
We never rush, never force, and never dismiss a child’s concerns. Every technique we use is age-appropriate, evidence-based, and kind.
We make the first visit relaxed, fun, and completely pressure-free. Here’s exactly what happens when you bring your child in for the first time.
From the moment you walk in, our team greets your child with warmth and patience. There’s no clinical rush. We give your child time to take in the space, meet the team, and feel comfortable before anything else happens. Parents are always welcome to stay throughout.
We use the tell-show-do technique, introducing the dental chair, the light, and any instruments in a fun, non-threatening way. Your child can touch and explore at their own pace. Nothing is used without their understanding and readiness.
Our pediatric dentist carries out a thorough but gentle examination of your child’s teeth, gums, bite, and jaw development. We note any early concerns, assess eruption patterns, and check for signs of decay, all while keeping your child relaxed and engaged.
If your child is comfortable, we proceed with a professional clean and fluoride application. We also spend time with your child (and you) on brushing technique, diet tips, and habits that will protect their teeth until the next visit.
After the visit, we speak with you directly, explaining everything we found, what we recommend, and when to return. If any treatment is needed, we discuss the options and timing clearly, without pressure. You leave fully informed and confident in your child’s care plan.
Our pediatric team brings specialist qualifications, genuine warmth, and a shared dedication to making dental care a positive experience for every child they treat.
